Founded in Manila in 1984 by Ramon T. Macatangay and Isabel V. Catapang, our firm was built on a simple conviction: that rigorous, principled advocacy is the surest form of client service. Four decades on, that conviction still governs everything we do.
Today, Macatangay & Catapang is a full-service firm of more than sixty lawyers, serving publicly listed corporations, banks, multinationals establishing a Philippine presence, government-owned entities, and the individuals and families who steward them. We practise across twelve disciplines, yet we work as one house — assembling the right counsel for each matter, however complex.
